Humanitarian Settlement Services
CMRC provides free Specialised Intensive Services (SIS) that include complex case management. Short term support (up to six months) to assist humanitarian entrants and other eligible visa holders with complex needs, access services and develop skills to manage independently.
We provide tailored support through individualised case management to enhance self-reliance and achieve better settlement outcomes.
The program applies and promotes the following work practice principles:
SIS eligibility
Subject to the approval of Department of Home Affairs, people holding one of the following visas may be eligible to receive SIS under the HSP
Holders of these visas may be eligible for SIS up to five years after their arrival in Australia, or up to five years after the grant of their eligible onshore visa.
