Purpose of the position

The Youth & Arts Worker will create innovative arts programs with and for clients, by engaging with refugee and newly arrived communities in the Northern Region and developing programs that are relevant to them.
These programs will be facilitated by professional artists and delivered to those who wish to take part in creative activities. They will envelop CMRC’s mission of developing English language acquisition, digital literacy and employability, and creating social inclusion. The role will work within the NR team to ensure community participation.

The successful candidate must provide a current National Police Clearance (obtained within last 6 months) and a Working with Children Check (for employment) in order to be employed in this role.
